At noon on Thursday November 20th, 2014 The Supreme Court officially made same sex marriage legal in South Carolina. This is the first time the court has officially acted on a same sex marriage law. When it was acted on a few months ago the court didn't actually view the Federal case legalizing same sex in 34 states. By not viewing the case the appeals to stop same sex marriage were ignored.
